Dear Kurvy Kweens,
I have been reading the Kurvy Kweens website for quite some time now and I follow the page on Facebook. Never made it to one of the meetings, for the usual reasons.
My idea for writing contributions to this website originates from people telling me repeatedly that I have a great sense of style and fashion and, thus, seeking my advice. On the other hand, there is me and my wish to communicate knowledge and experience I have collected over the years. In short – I would like to share what I have found to be working for me when it comes to style and fashion hoping you might enjoy it and feel inspired.
On a daily basis I see and/or meet women who do not dare to dress the way they would like to. Of course, I know pretty much all the reasons for this – finances, the embarrasment you feel when looking at yourself in the mirror, the disgrace brought upon you by infringement of sales personnel, the horror of ill-lit changing rooms, the feeling of “Oh, let’s be done with this pesky shopping for clothes, already. I’ll buy this, not because I particularly like it but because it happens to fit me.”
Been there, done that, and I would like to encourage women to step out of their their fashion and styling habits and begin to really express themselves by their appearance.
